WELCOME TO 7TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES!
Where do we come from? That question will guide us through our study of world history this year. We will investigate human history from its beginnings to the Age of Empires. We'll look at how the earliest humans lived and track their migration and settlement patterns. We'll look at the development of farming communities and their evolution into river civilizations. We'll examine how those early civilizations set the stage for empires, trade routes, and the development of unique cultures. As we make our way through ancient history, we will also look at the development of major world religions. This course is ultimately about significant changes in the human experience over time. Our goal will be to relate what we are learning to our world today.
7TH GRADE - ANCIENT HISTORY
