We have concluded our selection process for the new Principal of Northwood Elementary as Jennifer Knipper moves to the central office. We are delighted to share that Mrs. Molly Bascom-Keller will serve as the new principal of Northwood.
Since 2015, Mrs. Bascom-Keller has been an elementary teacher at Burton Elementary in Huntington Woods, and before becoming a teacher, she worked in banking and financial planning. Ms. Bascom-Keller has recently served as an interim elementary principal and held many leadership positions in Berkley Schools. She has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Finance degree from Western Michigan University, a Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education degree from Oakland University, and an Education Specialist, K-12 Supervision and Administration degree from Wayne State University.
Mrs. Bascom-Keller will assume the roles and responsibilities at Northwood, where we know her knowledge and expertise will serve the students, families, and staff very well, as the new school year begins.
