Ravens Honored At ACE/OTEC Celebration

On May 28, several Royal Oak High School students were recognized at the 2025 Oakland ACE (Accelerated College Experience) and Oakland Technical Early College (OTEC) Graduation Celebration, hosted by Oakland Schools.
The event celebrated students from across the county who have taken on the challenge of earning college credit—and in many cases, associate degrees—while still in high school. These rigorous programs help students accelerate their educational journeys and prepare for success in college and their careers.
We are proud to share that the following ROHS Ravens were honored for their accomplishments:
Josephine Devine, Emma Fields, Carter Harris, Oliver Harris, Tair Karanfili, Jonathan McNett, Jacob Mihelic, and Mia Yerke.
These students have shown extraordinary commitment and resilience in balancing college coursework with their high school responsibilities. Their achievements reflect our district’s mission to support students as they grow into adaptable, lifelong learners, ready to thrive in a dynamic world. Congratulations to our ACE and OTEC graduates.
