Personal Project Exhibition

ROHS MYP Personal Project Exhibition
Posted on 04/04/2023

The ROHS Open House/MYP Personal Project Exhibition was a fun night had by all.

Tenth graders at Royal Oak High School had an opportunity to showcase and present their projects that they had worked on individually all year. Check out some pictures where you will see students that sought to pursue dressmaking, jewelry making, self-taught music theory and art curation.

The MYP personal project formally assesses students’ approaches to learning (ATL) skills for self-management, research, communication, critical and creative thinking, and collaboration.

Students complete three elements:

1. Product or outcome
2. Process journal
3. Report

The report is assessed by an assigned teacher/supervisor and externally moderated by the IB to ensure a globally consistent standard of excellence.

Each project is awarded a final achievement grade.
