Congratulations to the newly elected members of the Royal Oak Schools Board of Education! Together, we look forward to continuing the tradition of excellence in education that defines Royal Oak Schools.
The Board will benefit from a mix of experience and fresh perspectives as we embark on this exciting journey:
- Erika Alexander – Re-elected to serve her second four-year term, bringing her continued dedication and insight to the Board.
- Timothy J. Ciechorski – Re-elected for a second four-year term, contributing valuable experience and a passion for student success.
- Maryanne VanHaitsma – Re-elected for her third term and currently serving as Board President, providing strong leadership and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and thriving school community.
- Matt Wickey – Elected to fill an open seat on the Board, offering fresh ideas and enthusiasm to further strengthen our schools.
As a team, these members will collaborate to ensure Royal Oak Schools remains a student-first, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment. Their leadership will help guide our district as we continue to grow and adapt in service of our mission and vision.
