Annual ELD Family Night Builds Community and Connection
Royal Oak Middle School (ROMS) recently hosted its annual English Language Development (ELD) Family Night, an event designed to connect multilingual students, families, and educators in a supportive, engaging environment. This night provided an invaluable opportunity for families to learn more about the resources available to support their children’s English language development and to build relationships with the ELD team.
The evening was filled with interactive activities, insightful information sessions, and community-building opportunities. Families were encouraged to ask questions, share their experiences, and network with other families navigating similar educational journeys. By creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ROMS emphasized its commitment to fostering a sense of belonging and ensuring that every student has the tools and support needed for success.
Events like the ELD Family Night underscore Royal Oak Schools dedication to inclusivity and growth, aligning with the district’s mission to cultivate a student-first environment where every learner is valued and supported.
