FUN FACTS!
Eminem shoots VIDEO in Royal Oak School
Glenn Frey graduated in 1966: Frey was the co-lead singer and frontman for the Eagles, roles he came to share with fellow member Don Henley, with whom he wrote most of the Eagles' material. Glenn Frey Day is celebrated on November 6 with radio station, WCSX.
Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha: Hanna-Attisha led nationally recognized research showing blood lead levels of Flint children doubled after the city began treating its own river water. Graduated in 1994.

ROYAL OAK HIGH SCHOOL IS RANKED 71st WITHIN MICHIGAN ACCORDING TO THE U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT
The U.S. News Best High Schools list has been released and Royal Oak High School is in the top 100.

According to the release, "By earning a national ranking in the top 40%, Royal Oak High School achieved status as a U.S. News Best High School."
ROHS is ranked 71st in the state of Michigan based on performance on state-required tests, graduation, and how well students are prepared for college.
"We are appreciative that our students and staff are receiving the recognition they deserve," said Mike Giromini, Royal Oak High School Principal. "Our students are thoughtful, caring, intelligent, and driven, and our teachers and staff work incredibly hard to build strong relationships, design creative and engaging lessons, and to support our students' academic and social-emotional growth. These elements, as well as the incredible foundation nurtured by our elementary and middle school colleagues, are reflected in this recognition. We're very proud of what we do and what we accomplish each day."
