GED Testing

The Churchill Community Education Center is an authorized GED® (General Education Development) test center.  An exam is administered monthly. A High School Equivalency (HSE) certificate is granted by the Michigan Department of Education upon completion of all sections of the GED®

NOTICE:

Starting on January 2, 2014, the GED test and format were changed.

To take the GED Test you must log into www.ged.com (please only create one account).  After you complete the registration questions, you will receive a message confirming the registration is complete.

Once the registration process is complete, the portal determines whether you are authorized to take the test.  You cannot schedule the test unless you already have an authorization record in the database.

Once registration requirements are met, you must schedule the test through a single sign on at www.ged.com

To be eligible to test you must: 
 

  • be 18 years of age or older
  • To test sooner requires a waiver signed by the Superintendent of your school district of residence. Please call their office for additional information.
