ROHS Student Honored At CTE Ceremony

On Monday, May 9, 2022, Royal Oak High School Junior, Samuel Walker, was honored at the Oakland Schools CTE Ceremony.

He was nominated by Royal Oak High School Business Teacher, Cheryl Turk. She said that Walker was recognized for his outstanding performance in the Business field.

Turk said, "Sam is the embodiment of focus and hard work."

Oakland Schools asked each school to nominate an outstanding CTE student for recognition at their CTE Recognition Ceremony. Turk wrote the following in her submission regarding Walker:
In June, Sam will be a program completer in both the Business Management Marketing and Sales program and the Entrepreneurship program. He has also earned industry certifications in Entrepreneurship and Small Business as well as Communication Skills for Business.
