"The pre-professional soccer club, playing in the highest level of amateur soccer in the United States, USL League Two, embarks on a new journey in 2022 as their newly renovated home field will provide OCFC friends, fans, and families, an enhanced game-day experience unlike anything else in the club's six-year history."

The season kicks off on May 21 at ROHS with a game geared toward families and students of Royal Oak. "This year, OCFC will be partnering up with Royal Oak Schools as we look to deepen our ties with the city and surrounding areas.," said Morana. "For the home opener on May 21, each Royal Oak school family member or student that purchases a ticket to the match, a contribution will be made to Royal Oak Schools."

A promo code is posted on both the Royal Oak Schools and OCFC's websites. The code will generate monies back to Royal Oak Schools when used to purchase tickets to the home opener. A check will be presented to Royal Oak Schools during the game. The ticket must be purchased online with this promo code: ROSCHOOLS.

"I think this is great for Royal Oak. It's an inexpensive way for a family to see a semi-professional team-centered right here in Royal Oak," said Brian Gordon,Interim Activities and Athletic Director for Royal Oak Schools. " It says a lot about Royal Oak and I'm looking forward to having our families on our campus enjoying great soccer this summer."

At the venue, families can expect the OMPT Physical Therapy Kids Zone featuring bounce houses, a soccer dartboard, face painting/balloon animals, a soccer shot speed gun, live music, and more. And during the game fans will be treated to some of the est
pre-professional talents in the region as players ranging across all divisions of college soccer and former professional ranks fine-tune their craft in the hopes that they can enter the professional ranks of the sport in the near future. Also,
