Frequently Asked Questions

If you choose hybrid and decide you want to switch to remote and vice versa, you may do so. We just ask you to give us a 48 hour time frame to make this change.

Cohort A: Last names A-K attend Monday and Wednesday

Cohort B: Last names L-Z attend Tuesday and Thursday

*In order to balance classrooms this is a general guideline. Your teacher will reach out to you again (this was done once already in October) regarding the days your child will be attending.

Your child will attend in person on their scheduled days either M/W or T/TH. The students day will be from 8:25 a.m.-2:30 p.m. In person Hybrid begins March 1st.

I am still considering a staggered arrival and dismissal. I will keep you posted.

Students will not be sharing lockers.

Students will eat lunch with their classroom cohorts in the cafeteria and gym. Tables are spaced apart, all facing the same direction with 2 students to a table seated more than 6 feet apart.

Students will have at least one recess a day at lunch. Students must wear masks during recess. The playground will be divided into sections for classroom cohorts to stay together.

Lunch and breakfast are free to all students for the 2020-2021 school year. You may still send a lunch to school with your child.

Breakfast will be available to students beginning at 8:00 am in the cafeteria. Students will sit in their assigned cohort area, 6 feet apart from others. *This option will only be available if the numbers allow. If the demand for breakfast is too great, students will be provided the option for breakfast each day in their classroom at the start of the school day.

While students are in person they will not be relying heavily on technology. Students will not be on a device for the entire day. Of course we use technology in the classroom to enhance our learning at times but devices will not be used for the entire day. We will have technology that will allow our remote students to join for certain lessons without needing our in person students to log into a device.
