Thanks to the USDA all students can receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each day school is in session this school year. Remember that a breakfast and/or lunch must include a fruit/vegetable serving.

Although all students can receive free meals this year, it is still important to fill out a free/reduced meal application and turn it in to the food service department. Royal Oak School District receives government funding based on this information.
Chartwells Dining Service, a division of Compass Group, USA, provides Royal Oak Schools Food Services. They mange the department that provides meals and nutrition education services to the students and faculty throughout the District.

Catering Menu and Request Form
CATERING: Due to the current pandemic we will not be able to provide catering until further notice.
Our catering department can provide food for district-related functions. We are also able to offer our services to out-of-district groups when such functions are held in a district building and arranged through Facility Use/Rental.
One-week's notice is appreciated for small catering orders. Large catering functions require more than two-weeks notice to allow for adequate planning and coordination. When an order is placed for a catered event, please provide a "ballpark" number of people to expect. A guaranteed number of meals must be provided by noon three days prior to the function. Orders placed, or charges made after this deadline may be subject to an additional charge. Cancellation of an event 24 hours or less prior to service may be billed in full or at a percentage thereof.
When placing your order, please provide the name, address and telephone number of the person to be billed. After the event, Food Service will bill for the catering services. You may transfer district funds to the Catering Account. You may also pay with cash or check made out to Royal Oak Schools- Catering Sales, and send to 1500 Lexington Blvd., Royal Oak, MI 48073.
All catering prices are subject to change.
