Royal Oak Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Joe Youanes as Deputy Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Youanes brings extensive experience in education, leadership, and student-centered innovation to his new role. Throughout his career, he has championed inclusive learning environments and cultivated strong partnerships with staff, families, and the broader community.
In this position, Dr. Youanes will work closely with Superintendent Dr. John Tafelski to advance the district’s vision of creating a Community of Excellence and its mission of providing an inclusive, diverse, safe, and student-first environment.
