Royal Oak High School students participated in Charity Week last month by hosting events and activities to raise money for a good cause. The group chosen for this year's charitable organization was Active Minds. Active Minds is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting mental health awareness and education for young adults.
Charity Week saw students dressing up on spirit days, hosting a movie night, a staff vs. boys volleyball game, a trivia night at Shield's Pizza, a volleyball tournament, and a Charity Ball.
The total raised for Active Minds was $7800.
