What Every Teacher Wished Parents Knew

WDIV TV-4 Detroit will be featuring Royal Oak Schools on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 during early morning broadcasting. TV-4 News Anchor, Guy Gordon, interviewed Oak Ridge Elementary School teachers Amy Kazdan, Jenny Patton and Dave Stafford for a special segment that will air throughout SE Michigan as children prepare to leave home for their first day of the 2010-2011 school year. The program is entitled "What Every Teacher Wished Parents Knew."
The three Oak Ridge Elementary School educators will provide their perspectives on the importance of parents as integral team members in support of their child's education. The teachers also provide important tips for parents that can enhance their child's learning and achievement throughout the school year.
Anticipated air times for the program are tentatively slated for 6:20 a.m. and 6:40 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2010. The program may also air later in the morning and should be available on the ClickOnDetroit.com website later in the day.
