Acorn Kindergarten Enrichment Program
~ A Childcare Program for Kindergarten Children ~
Royal Oak Neighborhood Schools offer the half-day Acorn Kindergarten Enrichment Childcare Program in addition to the regularly scheduled half-day Kindergarten class at Addams, Northwood, Oak Ridge, and Upton Elementary.
If you choose to take advantage of the extended program, your child will attend school for a half-day session of kindergarten; stay at school for lunch; and then, remain at the same school for the rest of the day in the Acorn Kindergarten Enrichment Program.
A teacher, along with a trained classroom paraprofessional, is assigned to each building in order to maintain a 1:18 maximum ratio of adults to students.
This very popular program is available to all kindergarten children for a fee of $315.00 per month. Also, there is a non-refundable $50.00 registration fee per family due with the application.
